Artistic and Creative Development Programs

Classes are taught in either six week, ten week, one day masterclasses or three hour workshops. In each class we'll be covering a variety of topics and techniques to help better understand how to approach Figure Drawing and how Anatomy plays a role in our decision making as we draw.

From Game and Film studios looking to enhance their Artistic Development Programs to teaching facilities looking for masterclasses as well as community workshops, we’re happy to discuss a custom training program that fits your needs.

“It’s useful for us to understand that learning to draw the figure is not only about figure drawing, it’s about learning to observe, and communicate an idea with emotion and clarity. While the figure is a framework and vehicle to express those ideas, these skills can be transferred to any area or discipline within art. So you see, there is more to figure drawing than just figure drawing! If you can draw the figure you can draw anything, but not because you’ve learnt to draw the figure but because you’ve learnt how to see!”
— Richard Smitheman
